Abstract

The fluid flow and heat transfer in microchannel is very important in many fields like electronic cooling, micro heat exchangers. Due to the high performance of electronic components, the heat generation increasing at very high rate. Heat dissipation becomes a significant issue in efficiency and stable operation of the any electronic component. Silicon based microchannel heat sink fabricated using semiconductor production technique plays important role in cooling devices. The purpose of this review paper is to contribute to this new area for selection of optimum heat transfer correlation for single and multi phase flow.
